Yin Qing was born in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, in 1954. He is a well-known composer, vice chairman of the Chinese Musicians Association and a member of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, enjoying special subsidies from the State Council. Representative works include "Into the New Era" and "Road to the Sky."

Yin is a cultural consultant for Futian. He has set up a music studio in the district, contributing to the city's cultural development and promoting songs of the time together with the district.
